CJL likes experience.  It has been years since we had it at the QB position.

Grothe will be a great QB, but CJL wants a sure winner and it will be PJ.

I might be PJ's biggest critic, but I can just sense it.  NO WAY CJL goes with a fresh or soph this year at QB.

PJ will get the first 2 games to prove that he is the man.

Anything less then pefect and he will be pulled for Grothe.

Reasonable assessment.

Remember sportsfans, we pulled Ronnie Banks, so that little shift in direction can be executed again.

Unfortunately, I 100% agree at this point.

...

Something just does not sound right  ;)

Production will matter. Right now, I am not counting on Hill, so it will be between PJ & GrothE ... maybe PJ will get the Game 1 & 2 start, but I expect GrothE to produce and will be #1 in Game 3.

Go BULLS !!!

Right now if the season started I would agree PJ should be the starter.

But they still have summer pratices if Grothe has a great summer practice and PJ about the same I would start Grothe.

He has been proving that for two years.

Throw someone else in the fire. It's the only way they'll learn. We have seen what you get with PJ. He's been through the fire and he is consistently mediocre (at best.) I can't believe Leavitt will settle for mediocrity so easily.

We'll get a lot out of game 1 next year, too.  I guarantee you see at least 2 QB's in that game, maybe 3.

After all, it's not the type of game that should be close.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
