Spring Game Attendance

FSU brought 4,000 fans to their spring game (they do not play a full scrimmage like we or most schools do)...can we beat that?

But while the worst of the weather held off until the practice was in the book, the threat of heavy thunderstorms was probably responsible for holding down the crowd to fewer than 4,000.

I did not go last year, but I do believe the gates were opened early for tailgating..

I think the whole Spring Game idea should be re-evaluated and have some sort of FAD attached to it... Granted, we should gain a little more crowd this year, just because they don't have to bake in the FL sun...  But a lot of schools have autograph sessions and some personal contact w/ the players before or after the game. I'm NOT saying get rid FAD, not at all.

I think just by playing-up the Green/Gold Game a little more to the crowd will create more excitement behind BULLS Football!

I think the Spring Game brings out those who really really have an invested interest in the program. Granted FSU (namely Bobby Bowden) has always DISLIKED the idea of a spring game and hasn't catered to fans with it (add severe storms to add to a very small crowd). However other schools have had thousands come out to see what their team has returning for the upcomming season (including more and more early enrollments)

Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Penn State have always been great at attracting crowds not only is it something to do in the spring, but it allows fans to tailgate and talk about what they think they'll see upcomming.

I will not be at this years game because of work, however I was at last years and hope to get some detailed play by play from you folks.

if i remember correctly we had about 5000 people last year......since  everyone is concerned bout our qbs, we should get more than that

We had over 4,500 last year for the spring game.  It was a pretty well attended event for the first time.  Given the date, day before Easter, I would be happy if we did 4,500 again.
