The big difference is they play in a small conference.  Anything is possible for a team from a conference like that.  If they were in the Big East, forget it.  Look who they compete against.

We are in the Big East, but operate like we are still in the Metro.

Noone is suggesting we make it to the tourney every year.  However more than 1 conference win would be nice.  

If we played in the CAA (like George Mason) instead of the Big East, we'd have more than one win.

First it was just a win IN THE be. Now its more than one win.  Next you'll be asking for a conference championship...oh the nerve.   ;D  It's all about baby steps.  THINK BABY STEPS.  Good things come to those that wait.  MAC will get USF to the dance in three seasons from now...NIT in two.

Enough with the crappy arguments.  A final 4 team is a good team.  They beat some good major conference schools to get there...

USF absolutely can win in the big east.  Nobody expected it this year...but we wanna see steps take to make it possible.

agreed that they have done a great job in the Tournament but the facts are that they were an 11th seed and lost quite a few games during the year,chances are that if they played in the BE they would have lost a few more and might have missed the tournament all together as Louisville did.

They beat UNC, Mich State and UCONN.

They would CRUSH us.

They would win at least 10 games in the BE.

They are as well of a coached team out there.

USF stinks!  We have stunk for a long time.  Most of it has to do with a lack of committment from the higher ups.  Maybe things have changed since woolard arrived, but not hirring huggins was a HUGE mistake.

Anyone want to put there money where their mouth is that K-State is in the tourny within the next 3 years and USF isn't?

Not hiring huggins will turn out to be one of the biggest blunders in Woolard's career.

I was in JAX this weekend and got asked about 10 times why they didn't hire him.  My only answer was "it looks like they are happy with the guy who has gone 6-42 in conference play over the last 3 years."

No one would make that bet with you.  They know we are in a downward spiral of garbage basketball to be seen for the next few years.  

Most teams in the colonial would beat us, this is no excuse to our 1 win in the BE, did you forget we lost to Bethun Cookman for christs sake.  

Mason, Madison, Old Dominion, Hofstra, NC Wilm., would all CRUSH us.  

we need a new coach.
