Mason, Madison, Old Dominion, Hofstra, NC Wilm., would all CRUSH us.

They beat UNC, Mich State and UCONN.

They would CRUSH us.

They would win at least 10 games in the BE.

They are as well of a coached team out there.

USF stinks!  We have stunk for a long time.  Most of it has to do with a lack of committment from the higher ups.  Maybe things have changed since woolard arrived, but not hirring huggins was a HUGE mistake.

Anyone want to put there money where their mouth is that K-State is in the tourny within the next 3 years and USF isn't?

Not hiring huggins will turn out to be one of the biggest blunders in Woolard's career.

I was in JAX this weekend and got asked about 10 times why they didn't hire him.  My only answer was "it looks like they are happy with the guy who has gone 6-42 in conference play over the last 3 years."

The big difference is they play in a small conference.  Anything is possible for a team from a conference like that.  If they were in the Big East, forget it.  Look who they compete against.

We are in the Big East, but operate like we are still in the Metro.  

How is anything not possible for any other team? Ok, let's look who they competed against - the CAA, a conference who put two teams in the NCAA and two more in the NIT. Old Dominion and Hofstra made it to the NIT Elite Eight and ODU is playing in MSG now. That's a pretty good conference and GMU made the most of their chance when they got their invite. "If they were in the Big East" - that's like comparing apples and oranges...they're not in the Big East. In fact, they beat the top team in the Big East just the other day, so evidently their schedule was sufficient for their coach to prepare them for that challenge.
