Personally, I feel that SuperBull X will be......

The USF Bulls versus the Syracuse Orange.  Pitt, 'Cuse, and UConn all are mediocre teams.

6 wins makes you bowl eligible for now...NCAA is going to review it this summer, but for teh 2006 season 6 wins gets you eligible.

You may very well be right Joe, but the last NCAA legislation update I read said that a team must have a "winning season" to be eligible.  The 2002 and 2003 seasons (12 game) there was temporary legislation that said 6-6 record was was ok, but that legislation expired.

Do you have an NCAA link for the legislation?

Thanks.

OK, besides ucf, which is the must see road game in everyones opinion?  I plan on attending ucf, unc, and kansas.  Kansas will make a great sports weekend, as the KC Royals are in town that weekend, and I am hoping the chiefs will be too.  Southwest has nonstops flights cheap to kc.

I will be attending UCF, UNC and Louisville.

Louisville is a great city and hopefully this game will be a big one!

I am going to try to hit all of the games again this year.

UCF,

I might just drive over for the game and have a designated driver for the way back. I am also considering getting a party bus for this game too.

Or I might breakdown and stay at Universal or Disney for the weekend.

Kansas,

Cheap flights to KC makes this trip easy. I might opt to stay in Lawrence even though KC is close. I want to check out the scence in Jayhawk land.

UNC,

There are alot of flights to Raleigh and not bad prices either. Should be a good weekend to check out all 3 schools in that area.

Cinci,

A hub for Delta so a ton of direct flights. Plus I can get some Skyline Chili, Little Kings Ale, and make a run at Huggs while I am there.

Louisville,

The weather will probably be a little ****** for this game. But SW has direct flights there. Hopefully this will be a meaningful game.

WVU.

Thanksgiving weekend. You can either fly to Pitt and drive 1.5hr or get a flight to Morgantown for not a bad price. I am not sure if I want to stay in Morgantown or Pitt. There could be snow or ice. So I tend to lean towards staying close to the game to avoid driving hassles.

Just my 2 cents on the possible roadies this year.

Guest Ari Hinkelberger

I think they back ended the games with LU and WV to try to get as many teams in the Big East ranked.

USF should be at worse 8-2 headed into LU.

I think we get two of three wins in the Kansas, UNC, Pitt trifecta.

That gets us to 8-2 --  with wins over SU, UCONN and Rutgers (Don't see how we lose those games)

Just a theory -- but if you have USF at 8-2 -- LU at 9-1 and WV at 10-0 -- that is a pretty stout conference.

I guess we will see.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
