Deonte Thompson could be the #1 WR recruit in the country next year. There will be a war between Florida and Miami for that kid. I don't know much about the other kids

Is the Brantley from Ocala (O-cow-la) related to Scott Brantley, the LB from there, UF, and the Bucs, currently the Bucs' color man on the radio? Bil

Yes.  He's Scot's nephew.

Joe Weatherford is the senior QB, he's probably mid-major talent, BUT he's not the youngest Weatherford.  There's an 8th grader, soon to be in 9th grade that they all say will be the best QB Weatherford, better than Drew.

Jon's a bruiser LB, and he could be a good one.  All the Weatherfords are great athletes, grandpa, and dad both were QB's at SMU.

My personal fav is Alton Voss.  You've got to see him to appreciate him.  T-Man hit it on the head getting it done with average teammates.  He has nice size, great strength and mobility.  To me, he's my personal fav, and would be mentioned in the same breath as Garcia if he had the teammates and exposure of Garcia.  Brantley is in another league.  He's Scot's nephew, and his dad also played at Gainesville, but the young one doesn't know if he wants to follow in that line, particularly with Tebow already being crowned the heir apparent.  I've read that Brantley continue to say how a fresh start wouldn't be bad.  Not bad to be in Tampa where he's still got his cool Uncle to hang with.

My money would be on Brantley going to Gainesville.  Not because he'd want to, but because the pressure will be to great not to.

I would guess Brantley to Gainesville, if he's willing to red shirt.

The QB from my old HS Gulg High Voss is one hell of a runner and passer
