Who are the kids we should be looking at for next year's recruiting class?  We already have a few kids on our Rival's list.  How about that QB from Jefferson?  I know it's early, but there's not much else to talk about right now.

I see there are a lot of kids from NJ on our list at this time.  There's also a kid from OH and one from TX.  Then there's this kid, who looks like a monster:

Ernest McCoy

Offensive tackle

Belle Glade (FL)

Glades Central

Height: 6-foot-5

Weight: 330 pounds

40-yard dash: 5.25 seconds

He’s a huge kid that moves well and is still raw. Coaches are all over that, those are things that you can’t coach. When he’s on the field, he’s got that mean streak too. -Glades Central coach Willie Snead

That Garcia kid from Jefferson might be the 2nd most recruited QB in the country after Jimmy Clausen

Can either one of those QB's even be mentioned in the same breath as USF?

If you are talking about the quarterback position then you're talking about John Brantley and Stephen Garcia as the two top in the area.  After this summer you'll be able to tell which one will be a bigger prospect, however I think they have two different styles.  Then you have Weatherford (I cant remember if its Joe or Jon) and another kid from Port Richey Alton Vaus (sp?).  Another prospect could be Andrew Nowels from CCC but he needs to make better decisions as a senior.

I think Weatherford from Land O' Lakes was only a Freshman or a Sophmore this past year.

Steven Garcia from Jefferson isn't going to come to USF. When schools like USC(and I'm not talking about South Carolina) are interested when you are a Junior, You are pretty good. Unless USF wins the Big East then wins the BCS bowl, we aren't in the running for him. Don't get me wrong, I think USF will have a chance at again being in the running for the Big East Championship, but it will be an outside, and I mean really outside shot at getting Garcia.
