Why do you not think at RB  ???

I always think of this kid as an amazing scat back in college ... where then, at CB ? He is not that tall.

Why do you not think at RB

Number one he doesnt have the size.  Right now he's 5'9 and somewhere south of 150lbs.  I know he's got time to grow, but if he's thinking Big 3 he wont be playing running back.  

Number two, he told me he's playing receiver in college.  Last weekend at the combine he mostly worked with the WR's

Here is why I think USF shouldn't recruit him.  First of all  I dont mean he isnt good and wouldnt be a good player for the Bulls, I just dont think USF should RECRUIT him.  

I get an early feel that there will be a ton of schools after him.  Remember, USF only has so much time to allocate to each recruit.  Now, are the coaches going to put extra effort in to recruit a kid that doesnt fit the system?  How many of our recievers are 5'9?  Last I checked Dawsey and Co.  like that big 6'4 type.  They could recruit him, but Leavitt and staff are very smart at who they go "all-in" on.  It will more likely be  a guy like Lorenzo Edwards who is 6'2 215 runs a 4.7 40 and will play linebacker in college.  

Personally I think Rainey is an excellent football player, but for the time and effort, I dont think the output USF would get from him is worth losing out on other recruits.
