That is statue worthy compared  to some of our other hires.

He looked good on paper. Strong was also a good hire on paper. He recruited and did amazing at Louisville as the head coach  and was one of the best defensive coordinators for years in Gainesville.

Or going .610 everywhere but here with some titles sprinkled in at every other stop ...... good, not great.

So the highest peak is where he did the worst and in the minors he was serviceable. Doesn’t sound good.

College football is way more of a pro league

After CJS, you could literally make statue of all of our previous coaches pointing and laughing at a dejected state of CJS and I think it would fly.

No coach is leaving a real coaching gig for minor league football, which has always been a notch below hs in the United States. Non nfl pro football is where careers go to die, they aren’t a pinnacle to anyone, were the games even televised? The signing bonus a $50 golden coral gift card?
