CAAR pretty much scared Dusty away from FAU. Smart move for Dusty as I am sure he knew that USF will be running the AAC…..

True.  I just wish it was a longer extension but sometimes schools back themselves into a corner with long contracts.  Mel Tucker, John Calipari (lifetime didn't mean lifetime), etc.  I believe in CAA

The extension time (through 29/30) is not the important part.  I imagine the new contract includes things like a higher salary for CAAR, a larger salary pool for assistants, and hopefully larger buy out clauses.

If CAAR wants to go to a top Program next year, there's not much that USF could do to stop it.  As we all know.

But working out an extension shows him that USF is committed to him and to the program.

Can't wait to hear more details.

It was a one-year extension.  Not that the 10-year contract kept Dusty May around...
