With the 6 left so far, plus the 2 incoming freshman, this 8 is a much better squad than this year's.

Maybe they plan to have her play the point. She is good defensively and is quick, long, and good at penetrating.

Looks like Coach Fernandez isn’t messing around. Got a commit from Missouri starting PG Mama Dembele. 10.2 pts and 6.5 assists per game and All-SEC Defensive Team. Grad transfer, so one year of eligibility left. https://www.rockmnation.com/2024/3/22/24109256/mama-dembele-commits-to-south-florida

Entered the portal yesterday and already here. That was quick, unless CJF already knew her. Guess where she is from? 

Spain.

Quick point guard that can drive, dish, and score. 6th in the nation in both assists and steals (3.3). Turnovers are high though. 

Major upgrade at PG.

Looks like Mama will be one of the quickest players we've had in a while. Would like to see highlights while in the SEC but if she led that conference in assists and with the shooters coming back...... Plus it looks like they won't be able to slack off her and just let her shoot 3s. This good be very good set up. Amy will come in to spell her and maybe can some time at shooting guard for Vicky. But CJF will have options at guard. Not real sure where Janet fits in. I know you think she's a point guard but I'm not sure she handles the ball well enough.
