The transfer portal opened this week, and it looks like we already have 3 players who have entered their names in Emma and the 2 Judits. With Emma and Judit Oliva leaving, it would leave us with just 1 big in Mputu. Perhaps we declined the NIT to hit recruiting the best players available to get a head start on teams that are still playing. If that is the case, it makes sense to decline the NIT.

Definitely need big bodies inside

I was going down the long list in the portal so far, and probably made it halfway through. There are lots of intriguing bigs on that list. 

One person that I would go after is Kateri Poole, the LSU point guard. I know many of you are shocked to hear this, but she would lighten the pressure on Amy. Poole has one year left and is an excellent point guard with mad skills as a shooter and ball handler, who can penetrate. Someone like her can come in and have Amy as a back-up.

Not surprised by Gonzalez. Although she got decent playing time, I had a feeling she was not happy. Can't blame her for wanting more time, if that is the reason.

I won't be surprised if Asensio and Aarnio enter.

I watched some highlights of Weimer yesterday because she had some crazy stats. I have not heard of the other 2. 

Hannah Gusters looks like she is good, but she is leaving her 3rd school at Oklahoma St. She might be a problem player.

gousfbulls.com has a 24-25 roster. Ascensio gone too if the roster is correct. Not in the portal yet, but maybe just heading home.

Yes, I just saw she is in the portal.
