Where are my Beta alumni bros?

I loved in delta my first semester and then became an RA…I was in an apartment style dorm for a semester and then I was in beta keeping an eye on the freshmen…dry dorm…definitely caught some bros trying to bring in a keg…they told me it was empty…they were honest…said they were gonna put plywood on it and use it as a coffee table…I’m like nah…take that mess back out to your truck…another time a fella BBQ’d a possum outside the building…can’t make this stuff up…

Lived in Beta in 89, place was a dump but I went from the barracks to Beta so it was actually an easy transition.  I can’t believe that place is still standing.

Beta 2 East 90-91 and 91-92 .... Beta 3 West 92-93.

It needed to be replaced even then.

When I was there in the late 80’s Delta was an all girls dorm…

I lived on Iota 3 freshman year, Beta the following summer.  Great times.

So the military prepared you for the college experience of slum living.

When was Beta a dry dorm?  There was a convenient store that sold beer someplace downstairs around the corner.  I never abided by that if it was, the RA was always complaining about the smell of weed all day long but never said anything about alcohol.

You just back memories good and bad about RAS. I forgot about that position  until this post . I know a few ras hated me and my friends and a few that loved us. Once I was off campus one of the ras showed up to our party that used to give us hell and we asked him to leave as a joke and he lost it. We were told him we just joking and got so drunk we had to have someone drive him back to campus.
