At risk of Frisco appearing, it very likely could be grade related.  He may have some improvements, assignments, homework, whatever to do the please the academic side to receive the nearly automatic passing grade for a student-athlete.   Let's hope it's that and not the other type of things that get no comment.

I'm thinking it was illness related. He was dressed out and on the warm up bike during the first 5 or so mins of the game. 

Don't think if he was academically ineligible he'd be warming up at all or dressed for the game. At least I'm hoping for that.

Pretty sure an illness would have been identified, like an injury would have.

It would be odd if it were related to grades. The semester ended weeks ago and a grades issue would’ve been dealt with a while back. My guess would be discipline due to behavior or a last minute illness type thing. Either way, clearly we need him back…
