Amy's mom, Sarah Howard, was a 3-time all-American at St. Cloud State back in the 80s. Probably, received good instruction. Here is CJF's comment when commitment was announced.

Coach Fernandez on Thompson: "I like what Amy brings she can play multiple positions at the guard spot and fits our system. She can shoot the ball well and can create off of the bounce."

Stillwater HS beat Park on Friday 61-21; so, Thompson probably did not play a lot of minutes. In any event, she had 20 pts, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

Really don't need to post game to game stats. We'll see what she does next year. My guess is she won't be a starter. CJF starting a FR at point doesn't sound like him and he'll have 2 shooters back.

Blasigh started. Amy is much better than Blasigh.
