"Florida State is a different team than it was the first 11 weeks," CFP selection committee chairman Boo Corrigan told ESPN. "As you look at who they are as a team right now, without Jordan Travis, without the offensive dynamic he brings, they are a different team and the committee voted Alabama four and Florida State five."

I think it is interesting that the CFP Committee head expressly states that it is all based on a player injury.  Should help open the gates to more headhunting in the future.

I don't argue that FSU may not be a top 4 team but stating this as the decision-making rationale is more than pathetic.

They were so different that they just continued to win.

At the end of the day, FSU got screwed and I am ok with that, I don’t like FSU.  Not sure why so many here are complaining about it,  CFB much like life isn’t fair, so what.

I’m still upset about the 2020 election… however life moves on either way. FSU was a shell of itself without Travis. That’s the reality of it. They struggled against UF. UF is terrible like Biden. That sums it up for me.

ACC - second level

Top 25 wins were Louisville and LSU?

SOS in the 50s

I’m not defending the committee, but I can see why FSU is not in the final  four.

Not P2, bad SOS.  QB out.

Where is USF going?

Except the reality of it is that the CFP committee is subjective while an election is not.

it appears Boca baby!  Going to visit the folks in Bradenton and then driving down to participate in the festivities, don’t care if we are playing King HS, our bowl drought has been way too long.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
