Why would we want to compete in the only real playoff in college football? Don’t we like our position as a lackey that helps stabilize inevitable peepee system that screws over most schools, so the chosen few can monopolize resources?

Hell no lol. The exposure that USF has received just for being a member of the AAC is priceless. No way do we see USF on tv that much if they were in a lower division or the MW, SunBelt, MAC, C-USA. USF has it made right now.

Winning is the first thing that matters right now. Worry about who after we get that part down again ....

Winning in fbs  football and punching up is all that matters. We have to make usf football relevant again to the eyes  of college of football.

All of this talk of the Cure Bowl.... Will it be played "10:15 Saturday Night"? Will we have to go through "A Forest" to get there? Will it feel "Just Like Heaven" or "Hot Hot Hot!!!"?

If you're going to whine about attendance against perennial powerhouse like Temple, well shucks, pa ... these guys will definitely pack the house:

...and bear in mind that this is ONLY the playoff teams, not the rank-and-file opponents who make up the division, and whom we would have to play week in, week out. Go ahead. Pick who you want to play. And before you start penciling in how U of SF would fare, bear in mind that, DII allows 36 (three six) full or part time scholarships per year. Here's a handy worksheet to help you whittle down which Bulls stay and which ones get a cardboard box for clearing out their personal effects.
