Found this massive encyclopedia of college football teams at the local library. Naturally I flipped to USF, and was disappointed to see they got this information wrong about us.

I remember that. Amusing. I realize the subject is somewhat esoteric to the average fan but makes those of us who were there question the validity of  any information in that book.

Once again, this is why it's ok to let the interns develop material, but I still want a pair of 'grown up' eyes doing the final edit.

He attended Marquette University for two years before transferring to Creighton University,[5] where he graduated with a B.S. in journalism in 1985. The following year he earned a Master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University

He is doing a book signing in St. Louis MO, if anyone wants to have him correct his mistake....

The 160 point swing in that first game would have been truly disheartening.

Given the real results after that first year of preparation by the team, maybe we should take a year off to practice.
