We haven't won a conference opener either in that time frame and we just took care of business. Golesh has the team matching his intensity and passion to put in the work to win. I expect usf to come one out against navy with a win. They don't look good and run less of the  option. I think this is the guy the team shows real progress and erases the poop stains Jeff Scott left away from the program. We will get our second fbs win and second conference win. Time to out work navy  and have some fun again . Golesh's presser pointed out we got work today and when players buy into his process they produce. I love his aggressive and intense personality to tell it like it is and keeps stressing we need to keep improving our execution from the staff and players . I loved how he showed them 12 plays from Bama they didn't execute and used it ad motivation to  coach and build them up against Rice. We have a coach that cares about showing these kids the difference between winning and losing.  He is coaching this kids up to be winners.

This team could have easily folded after the fumble and 80 yard TD. I saw Golesh get the team together in a big huddle and keep them on track. In years past, we would have just stopped playing after that.

That's why we hadn't won an FBS game in like 3 years before last night. The team was just walking in circles. 

 

I know I'm not the only one that thought. Here we go. USF gonna USF after that 80 yard TD

What I've seen of Navy this year, they seem to be a little more proficient in the passing game than is typical for a Navy offense.  I think they've changed their offense somewhat with the new coach.
