It's a better tactic than relying on the PAC leftovers to assume we want in. Make it known. Market ourselves. It worked out for Colorado, Arizona, ASU, Oregon, Washington and Utah. It doesn't hurt to try and will probably fail. AD MK needs to show something other than failure for USf Football under his leadership. I think it will be in the best interest of anyone remaining in the Pac/ACC to merge and grab the best of what is below them regardless of what the networks say. Zero point in competing at this stage since it looks like a battle for survival against the Big/$EC.

The average fan knows the PAC 4 and might have trouble naming 4 in the AAC. Our fans have been making a mistake for 10 years assuming that USF is somehow a shoo-in for the coveted invite. Even if it is not called "power" it will be better than what we have now. Waiting around for dominos to fall your way often leaves one left out.

Correct if we aren’t talking with the PAC4 about being part of AAC moving there, we are failing.

MK and the USF prez should be burning up phone lines and getting on planes trying to get USF into the Pac4. Remember when the Big East was down to 3 members, Cincinnati, USF, and UConn and only had one year of a BCS auto bid left. The Big East was still able to lure plenty of CUSA teams in. Same deal. The Pac 4 still has autonomous status, auto bowl bids, etc. USF can make the PAC a temporary home until ACC calls, if they call. The time is now. If USF doesn't accept then you can bet everything that SMU, Tulane, and Memphis will accept. Do you want to be left in AAC with Charlotte, Sam Houston State, Louisiana Tech, and whoever else the AAC brings in? Because that's what would happen. There are four schools left. Why not visit each one? Make your best presentation and we'll see.
