I like the defensive players he is signing so far. Reminds me of Schellenberger when he started at UM. Fast, hard hitting kids that were a bit undersized to the big names schools but that were being pursued by the middle rung schools from big conferences.

I like how Golesh is making moving up to the P5 a recruiting pitch. Jenkins mentions in the article on USF Bulls Insider was that was one of the things that sold him on USF.

Unless CAG knows something we don't, not sure that's a very smart move ...... depending on how he actually worded it.

In the article in The Athletic recently, he made sure to emphasize that he's not recruiting against G5 schools, he's looking to recruit against P5s for P5-level recruits. Could have been that that's what he told Jenkins, and Jenkins took that as we're moving up to P5

That makes more sense .... and if it's correct, hopefully Jenkins is enlightened at some point.

To me it wouldn't be any different that telling the player "we're going to win a championship" or "we're going to a bowl game" or "We're getting a new stadium" or any of that.  It's his goal, should be all of ours.  If you can't think it, you can't do it.  GO-LESH!!!  GO-LESH!!!  GO_LESH!!!
