Hmmnnn, interesting.  Are scholarships now going to contain performance-based incentives clauses?  I think I may just want to go back to the old system and just have the boosters pay the players directly after every win.  SMU alumni must be really pissed these days.

Or the U old ways  make a big play or win a big game get a brown bag filled with goodies  .

SMU alumni can write off their donations as "marketing" or "sales" expenses now.

I pledged something. Not huge. But I would feel much better contributing to actual positive results. Especially for our teams with traditions of winning like WBB, baseball, softball.

I like this! Seems they are thinking outside the box to raise NIL money. I would definitely be on board with this and donate to the football program.

Now they got rid of Jeff Scott they may be able to crowd source some money based on wins.
