I don't know how the actual attendance will be.  I have a sister who lives in Ft. Myers and they bought several tickets before the UConn loss.  Now, only 1 in the group is coming and the other people are doing something else because the game doesn't have BCS implications.  I suspect they are not alone and the actual attendance may be significantly lower than people are hoping.  There is nothing more exciting than playing for something big...and this game no longer has that appeal.

too bad they feel that way i would think Senior day, homecoming game and clinching our first bowl bid are pretty big. Oh well im sure some will skip it but others will show up as shown by the sales this week. Ill be there with 3 more.

They monitor every freaking thread on here and if someone even mentions UCF, they swoop in like buzzards. They are so starved for attention. You'd think with all this "success" they're having the inferiority complex would have abated somewhat.......... Sad.

I never said there were FREE tickets.  Don't let common sense confuse you.  But hey, if USF went 0-17, we'd have to practically give tickets away too.

By the way, Goldie, there's a LOT of area that's "outside the 30's" in the Citrus Bowl.

Those areas went pretty fast, too.  But we're only expecting about 1000 Tulsa fans...but you're expecting at least 10K WVU fans...helps your numbers...but we filled our seats on our own.  I wouldn't doubt that USF would do something similar for a game that didn't exist two weeks ago without ANY pre-sold season tickets to spot the start.
