i like his agent making the contract not effective til Jan. 1 so he has plenty of time to consider the KSU job under the old $50k buyout

Not recruiting a QB?!?  Do you even keep up with recruiting?  Here's a quick education on the QB's we've recruited over the past 3-4 years.  

Adrian Mcpherson (Choose half-ass-U)

Courtney Denson (came to his sesnes after a year with Auburn)

Cornelius Ingram (the only player we went after and didn't get that year)

Carlton Hill (we finally landed a top one after getting into a BCS conference)

Grant Gregory (another big-name transfer).

Don't tell me Leavitt hasn't recruited good QB's...

I think he meant landing a good QB

This is EXCELLENT!!!  Leavitt and USF are synonymous.  I am glad my diploma is associated with both (as well as superior academics)!!

Twillybull, I was hoping no one would respond to him and the other guy, and it was going really well up until your post.  But that's okay.  They've irked a lot of people.

It's effective Jan 1st because that's after this football season.

This is great news.  I am very impressed with Woolard and the way he handled this, including getting the information on the structuring out there.

Something else - You know, smazza and cee want what in their minds is best for the program.  It just happens to differ with my thinking, but I'm sure others agree with them.
