  2. Bounce ('Cuse) Bounce (Marquette) and Bounce (Seton Hall) again. Strong showing Big East Keep making us proud to have won one game in Conference LOL!!
  3. Because there are few sports going on right now and you cannot speculate about the future of any sport without citing certain negatives (which have been beaten to death) and if you mention any of them the ridiculous USF-correctness mob will smother you with rolling eyes, question your loyalty and advance claims of your UCF affiliation. Now lets ask the real questions: Are you a Darksider? Do you know any? Have you been to any meetings or have you seen any movies made by Darksiders? Do you know any guests or have you taken any money from guests to advance thier cause. Do you know that you can be barred or punished for you opinions? "Good night and good luck."
  4. Great job getting a consistant image out as per the great marketing plan of 2001. Maybe we should just embrace the fact that we will never be "USF" or "South Florida" and go as S"NA"FU.
  5. Great job Bloomtown - the girl got her roses and is all smiles. Thanks for the great service, especially at the last minute. You sister/wife (?) was very nice on the phone dispite computer troubles. Thank you very much.
  6. If only we had a really talanted kid that could be here and put us over the top . . . .
  7. Jokmiste hasn't had a good game since . . . well he is going to throw for a thousand yards . . . . yeah thats the ticket. And Andre Hall will rush for a bowl record 500 yards while the USF defense not only holds the Pack to - 12 yards but they score 128 points and are immediately drafted, as a unit, by the Texans who will win the SuperBowl in 2007 with the defense leading the way. All the while me and my wife, Maria Sharapova, will be at every game . . . yeah thats it, Maria Sharapova . . . . . . . .
  8. Wow great job Reggie!! Please know that we are very proud of you and miss you very much. Thanks for stopping by and letting us know that you are doing well. BTW - If you have been able to instill 1/10th of your heart into each of these kids, they are still underachieving.
  9. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Get well hype monger.
  10. Thats amazing isn't it? Its like a different world. Greenie said it wasn't possible.
  11. Well I was quoting the NCAA stat sheet ( http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/natlRank.jsp?div=4&rpt=IA_teampenalties&site=org ), but that is probably a better way to say it.
  12. Glad to see you dropped it from the 80% you originally stated and made it a little better than 2:1. About even money when you need 2 in a row. I think you will find that the percentage I originally quoted was correct 50% vs FIU mostly dropping when it mattered. Anyway it was a joke . . .
  13. FAU and FIU are the Reclassifying/Provisional teams and they are better than we are so I left the number on the more positive side.
  14. Is that better than last year or not I cannot remember. Better in Yards Penalized Per Game at 104/117
  15. Temper your expectations NCS is really tough defensively. I like Rutgers as the BEST possibility to win, but if you want to bet take the USF v NCS under.
  16. I never said the team wasn't comeptitive, that the school didn't hold student athlete in high regard but I will say that the marketing sucks. By all means put words into my mouth and then attack them. While your at it change your name again and make up some incredibly whitty way to pat yourself on the back. Im done rolling around in the mud with you, you seem to enjoy it.
  17. Just because he didn't get on the field doesn't mean he wouldn't have done a great (better) job here. I wish we would have got to see him this year as a starter. It seems to me that USF has gotten too caught up in speed and size and not football heart. I would add talented and to see him struggle with his version of the spread offense makes me doubt the system even more. (see also: Marcus Vick)
  18. You want to know what I what? Like it matters, but what I want out of my alma matas football team is: A.) Entertainment B.) The team to act as a marketing device for the school As for entertainment this Bulls team is about as entertaining to me as going to the dentist. I missed the UL game but other than that I can count the entertaining moments on one hand - mostly defensive scores. The concept that eludes you is that I am not pouting, I am not bandwagoning and I am just not going to spend my New Years Eve and $500-$1000 to go get my emotions drilled in Charlotte. No entertainment value there. In an ideal world the Bulls would have won at UConn and been competitive against UWV (a game where I took a bus with 43 non-Bulls fans) and gone to Charlotte the same freaken bowl they are going to anyway. The Bulls would have clinched earlier and I would have hope, some anyway, that they could compete with NCS and I would be beaming with Bull pride. As it stands I get irritated (maybe I feel a bit guilty) when I am compelled to make a statement by attending a game that will only hurt me to attend. As for the marketing device, that entails putting a competitive team on the field, holding the term student athlete in high regard and marketing that team for all its worth. Getting killed by Georgia in a BCS bowl on national television wouldn't have been the ideal situation.
  19. What was I thinking? 6-5 is a great year, having a pass oriented offense that ranks as the 108 passing offense in the nation is super. There are 9 teams behind us!! You're right its all great and I am to blame if they cannot get a guarenteed bowl bid next year. BTW - Thank GOD we didn't get the BCS bid. It would have embarrassed the program for all eternity. I was just a bit sensitive to being called upon to make a statement that should have been made on the field.
  20. Heres a chance to show just how big-time USF can be. LMAO Nice line. Big time? Powerful statements? Nice quotes now heres one from me: "If we won both of our last two games, that would have really made a statement across the country. That would have been as powerful as could be. If we at least won one, that would have been a good statement." - Pariah Heres a thought: If USF wins at UConn it would have given USF alumni and fans another week to plan because the invitation would have come earlier. Instead we waited on the fence, watch another gruesome offensive display and lost our taste for traveling. I would apologize for not helping USF make a powerful statement if I thought it would do any good. In 2006, I will count on USF making a bowl game and will plan accordingly. Otis is that you?
  21. USF forward Jessica Dickson goes up for two of her 35 points against DePaul's Caprice Smith, left, and Jenna Rubino. Dickson had nine of the Bulls' 15 overtime points, and went 5-of-6 from the free throw line in the last 30 seconds of OT.
