  1. Why doesn't this rate a headline on the board. Its probably in a thread, but c'mon most of us blow off the fairer sex threads. Great win girls!! Congratulations!!
  2. 2 of 3 free throws? Don't pick an actual USF player or else nobody will win. (sorry it was too easy after going .500 at FIU)
  3. Google that passage and you get a link here, pretty cool. Oh yeah, here is my overview: A lot of bombs dropped, craters and a few high points that are barely visable from here. (mostly on defense, which played pretty darn well)
  4. I hate to sound like smazza here, but getting 2,000 people to pay good money to drive (or fly) to Charlotte to watch 1/3* of a football game on New Years Eve isn't that bad. * - Excluding the USF offensive part of the game is a must as NCS is a better defensive team than either WVU or UConn
  5. This is Rivals stuff and we got one mention. I want to break these down further, like the % that went to spread offenses. I think the spread hurts us when going after players who want to become pros. I will have more later.
  6. Unbelievable talent alone. Nobody else in USF history could have done that in this offense. God Bless Andre Hall!!
  7. 99% of the plays were designed rushes. I guess thats why we set up in a rush formation 99% of the time . . . . oh you don't say . . . well we like the challenge of rushing out of a pass formation then I guess.
  8. Went to WVU and now I've suffered enough. Enjoy the trip and the history of the game guys.
  9. Is that laughter I hear raining down from the Atlantic Coast . . . Teams with 2 game losing streaks are not worthy of waking up programs that HAVE been there before.
  10. I guess you guys are right, Doug Woolard has been doing a great job so I renamed the place. (Taking off the negative connotaion
  11. Reading the complete details of the Leavitt deal it occured to me that the nickel and diming days may be over at USF athletics. This is the first time, at least in my memory, that something got done in a first class way. No penny pinching or crying poor. They wanted to keep the coach and they did what it took to make it happen. Congratulations and thank you, thank you and thank you. It seems to be part of a trend. A new attitude and philosophy. They renovated part of the SunDome right? I haven't seen it so I cannot speak to what kind of job was done, but it has been a long time in the coming. Now I can't wait to see what happens with the baseball stadium. Happiness and joy all around guys. ;D
  12. About the same. No mention of extra money for a coaching staff.
  13. Batter up . . . . OH MY they got all of that one . . . . Going, Going and GONE!! Homerun Doug Woolard and Judy Genshaft.
  14. I doubt he would leave if USF gives him any kind of new commitment. If they bump him $200K he is looking at almost breaking even with Kansas state income tax and the cost of relocating. Then considering the "dream job" label, his home, his daughter who would probably not move with him and a better BCS situation here. That said I doubt he would even consider staying for a bowl game. He is all business about stuff like that and would be on his way to Kansas if he took the job to prepare for the next game. So my answer remains the same: No. Especially if its only about a hundered thousand dollars.
  15. Nope. He is either with us or not. If he leaves for the money let him spend the day counting it.
  16. Dark Lords of the Sith, may I become an apprentice/guardian while I wait to see how the year turns out. I wanted RMC, I needed RMC but now I don't think I can handle RMC. He will either be great or a complete failure, nothing in between. Sad to say, but there are not enough great kids (with character and discipline) with Big East level talant for him to sign. The kind of kids he needs go to Duke, Stanford or UNC. I love the plan but USF is now in the Big East and has to be competitive. Sometimes you gotta make chicken salad outta chicken $%^& long enough to get established. I hope he makes it, but I am ready to train for the worst case scenario if you'll have me. When was the last time a Big East team lost to the likes of FIU?
  17. Um . . . Thats why it hurt so much, it left our bowl destiny in someone elses hands.
  18. Just remove the unathorized footage and replace it with any Keystone Cops video. It looks the same and your point will be made.
  19. I'll take John L Smith if there done with him. That will really get to those redbirds. LOL I'd LOVE to be at the first game at Papa Johns. BTW - I very much doubt CJL leaves USF, and/or JLS gets fired. http://msuspartans.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/smith_johnl00.html
  20. You forgot; If its a matter of making the I-AA playoffs, they will break your heart. I was there in Hattiesburg for the season ending loss that knocked us out and at RayJay for Hofstra and the Gio Carmazzi Show.
