That and Four home games for BE slate means a lot easier than this year's slate.

Yeah, but next year we have WVU and Louisville on the road.   :'(

South Carolina wanted UCF to bail...if they didnt they wouldn't have waived the fee.

UCF is going to be a tough team next year, I think they play Florida

They're only going to wave it if UCF finds them a replacement.

When FSU was building, they played ANYone, ANYwhere. I think we should follow that blueprint.

Hell, Louisville did the same thing. Sure, you lose a game now and then, but as long as they spell your name right on ESPN, you get the exposure.

SC, In finding a replacement Carolina stated it could be a I-AA team, SC wanted to dummy down their schedule, they have some tough games next year.

Just the chance to beat the "bigger" teams I think is is good for us.  We need to get out more into the national spotlight...

i dont care about the OOC opponents, i'm more interested in the in conference opponents.. this year, i dont care if we went 7-4 , as long as those 7 wins were against BE opponents... hell, if we have to let's schedule USC in the coliseum and let the execution begin

Scheduling a difficult schedule gives you everything.

Play a few competitive games against or beat 2-3 "upper echelon" teams and you creat a lot more publicity for your team versus running through a bunch of nobody's and getting blown out by a decent team or in a Bowl game. Then the only publicity you end up getting is your record was inflated because you played a cupcake schedule.

First and foremost, USF should only schedule top teams that are willing to come to Tampa, even if it has to be a 2 for 1.  This will generate interest and will fill put fannies in the seats.  Then you strive to get some wins over those teams which, when it happens, will create lingering hype and will help swell your fan base.  Of course, if you start ripping off some wins, nobody will play you anymore.  However, that's a problem you want to have.  If everybody wants to play you?  You're Temple.

To be the best, you have to play the best.  By playing against  the Miami's and Penn St's our players get a feel of what it's like to play major college football.  And it's the best measuring stick for your program.

If that's the case, would love to delay our game with UCF and go to SC instead ... as long as we get a return game.

Go BULLS !!!

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
