Yup. Was just fine at Mississippi State. 3 top 13 finishes at UF in 4 years.

He's a great coach to get your program to a top 25 level, not a great coach if you want to compete for a national championship. That's no concern for us

2015: 21st
2016: 12th
2017: 11th
2018: 14th

Mullens first full year:
2019: 9th
2020: 9th
2021: 12th

The Gators recruiting was improving under Mullen compared to when he got there

Okay... so I was off with my guess.

2021 - Dan Mullen was #12 in the nation but #5 in the SEC | #5 in the AAC was actually Jeff Scott which was #65 in the nation (#4 was UCF at #57 and #6 was Tulane at #79)

So if that is Mullen's level of recruiting, he would be anywhere from #58 to #78 in the nation.

Mullen just was recently let go by the Gators after going 5-6.  Don't see him as a good hire. I think we need a coach who has winning momentum. If not Deion then Chadwell!

Since he is a QB whisperer, which we don't need at the moment.  Does he come with a DC or what's the story there?  We really need to keep the offense rolling (could retain OC) but boost the defense up.
