As it’s been said before, money isn’t his motivation

This is the most ridiculous thing people keep saying.  We are likely paying him twice as much as we'd like.

Agree 100%. If his goal is to get to fsu then we are the perfect”training ground” for him.

But he doesn't see it that way, we do.  He has no need for South Florida.

He actually does see it that way.

He sees us as the perfect training ground, that's comforting.

Who's training him?

If money was the motivation he would have taken a G5 school and not gone to Jackson St. I would agree  with you if you said money for his assistant pool, but not as HC.

As Luke Fikell just proved, every G5 and low level P5 schools are all “training grounds” for big P5

Not bilking an HBCU is clearly different.  Going to the HBCU got him great press and virtue.  That doesn't mean money is not a motivation.  Now the assistant pool line.  Oh boy...

If we get Deion, he wins, sells tickets and attracts donors to the program - it's a fantastic investment. Well worth that risk at this point if you can hire him.

Can you elaborate on this?

The idea that he would leave the HBCU to get his assistants more.
