He could be a good choice. Could keep Trickett and the office and he could shore up the defense.

If this is the hire we were all played. Not saying it couldnt work, but he isnt a big time splash hire . He is not an elite recruiter. Could it work maybe with Trickett at Oc, Del Prado at ST, have an all new defensive staff, strength/condition coach, and some tweeks for other position coaches.

To bolster that argument: I am thinking that was the last time our defense was good.
