Coastal Carolina lost 26-45 to Troy today.

Obviously this is a failure for MK.

I think we dodged a bullet in not hiring Chadwell.  He had a great record based upon having the best player in the conference and would have likely been a flop at USF.

Liberty paid 4 million a year for Chadwell. Glad we passed on that.

Yep who cares.  I'm okay betting the farm on Deion because we would instantly bring in more revenue, but not this guy.

He still went 31-6 at Coastal Carolina; got them ranked and got them some national recognition. Five years ago I had never even heard of Coastal Carolina; now everyone knows about them. Would not have minded at all if USF had hired him; especially compared to what we got.

Let’s see what happens in future. He had a soft schedule at CC, beat nobodies, got a stud QB that led him to those wins, complete failure without him. Allowed over 100 points in last two games. Sorry, glad we didn’t pay 4 million a year for that.

Exactly!! USF needs to get that OCS first & foremost. Then the right hires will eventually happen. Look at Tulane & UCiF how their new OCS helped them..
