Let us pick the days/times.  Wouldn't want them to see everyone.

Just another fringe internet site quoting an anonymous USF official. I'll stand by my comment that JP Peterson is the first semi-reliable source I've seen on this search. Doesn't mean he's right, but if I had to pick someone who may have some "inside" sources among the donors, etc. at USF, I'd go with JP. He's been in the Tampa market, working at legit media outlets for a long time and has been connected with USF. What the heck is "OutKick"?

You being serious with OutKick? It's a massive sports site...

I know there's little benefit to promoting from within this failed coaching staff, but we'd probably save some serious $ that can go toward our facilities if we ride with Kerwin Bell for a few years.

It's not in the mainstream ESG/Corporate Approved (tm) awareness sphere.  It might as well be invisible even if they are making tons of money.  😀

The answer is YES we want to pay BB some of that NIL money too.

$5m for his staff?!?! That would be a big holdup... From what I can see, Scott's staff salary pool this year was $3.6m.

if he gets 5 million for his staff it better not be his Jackson State staff. I want Derrick Brooks LB coach level of pedigree hires at that point

Yes but you gotta figure how much more you might get coming in from extra seats sold and donations from the excitement of hiring him and if he starts to bring in top talent and starts winning

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
