If Leavitt is coming back as a DC here it would be with a HC like prime that would give him a bunch of blue chippers to work with

Then he could take over the stacked team after the inevitable exit?

could definitely be wrong, but I think we're still a better job than FAU. If we aren't, wow.

Why would we be better?  We are in the same conference.  They have a stadium although rinky dink.  We have the better city, but it's very nice down there and close to Miami.

Yeah, but do you really get passed over for FAU by Tom Herman this late in the new coach hires unless you're already like, "We're good over here, Tom, why don't you go and see if FAU wants to give you a job

Yes the gossip was that he was one of the ones we told last Friday that he was out.  So we told him no, rather than we were passed over.

Mike is going to announce this is all a new FOX reality show where we have a coach but they wear some ridiculous mask/costume. Or they have to coach from the press box with their identification concealed. Then we finally find out who it was after the season, their contract is up, and we start over again…

….or we are just waiting until after the games this weekend. One of those.

What a fickle business CFB is. Five years ago Herman could have had any coaching job he wanted. Now he supposedly gets passed over by a team that just went 1-11 and is desperately trying to regain a crumb of relevance on the national stage.

Welp. Not sure who the "source" is for the author of this article.

Things have been seeming to be trending that way over the past few days. Following reports Sanders was one of two finalists, a USF official told me that wasn’t true.

Deion Sanders' future is reportedly now down to two schools. His options are reportedly down to Colorado or Cincinnati.

Hearing talk here that USF is hanging in the wind . . . who are the 2nd choices for P5 teams Colorado and Cincy?

As tight lipped as USF has been, I don’t think they’re leaking things to a Badgers reporter with 30k followers.
