I swear they called and Ask Jeff scott what do we do here to lose this game. It reminds me so much of calling the same play back to back on  the 4th and 1 call then using a timeout to run the same play. At least change the play up with a aggressive play call from that set on the third time with some misdirection, sweep, motion, or a toss to outside. We were scoring with motion, trick plays, and misdirection not conservative runs up the middle 3 plays in a row.

It was a run option, rewatching it our true freshman qb prolly should have kept it on two of the plays

Yes, we only see the result and respond as if the same play was called over and over.

This is still a soul crushing moment.  I randomly thought about it while driving back last night and it still makes me mad.  You don't get amazing comebacks like that every day just to squander it.

This has been the whole season. At least 4 games we had a crutch play call that was botched.

It's interesting when you think about how many games could have actually been won this season with this actual team.
