I agree, transfer portals don’t work very often. BUT, with the new AAC teams and an upgraded coach, we should be able to wind 5 games next year. This will buy you a year or two to get better talent to develop.

The most immediate upgrade we need to see next year isn't in roster building, or schematics, or results on the field. It needs to be a culture reset first and foremost, because otherwise there's no foundation to build upon. Whatever "culture" we ever had has been erased from memory. Deion would immediately set a new tone for the program to turn into a culture that can last after Deion is hired elsewhere. If we are to be so lucky.
