Chadwell had Coastal ranked with back to back 11 win seasons. He can recruit Florida. His offense is exciting. Come on, folks.

This is how I feel.  I like it.

Deon was never on the table, this is a good call.

The aac will be getting a seat at the playoff table every year, there’s potential to grow into a top program from this league.  No other non p5 conference can honestly say that.  Embrace the changes, new stadium new staff new league with better access.  Aside from big east buyout money the program is in a far better situation heading into 25/26 than we were in 2012/13 when the American started.

Good points. At least USF is trying so I’m giving them credit for that. Building new facilities. It was a great off season. Hopefully we have another great off season

Wow! That offense is thrashing the Bama  defense. No wait! That is South Bama.

I mean, the play design is nice though. Can't deny that.

I've been burned by a couple of those now, so I'll wait and see.  Hopefully we keep the star players because we have some legit offense talent on the team.

Yeah no juice until the wins start.

I’ll agree with that completely.

Considering how watered down the conference is starting next year, I’m not sure how much juice wins against teams like North Texas and Rice will bring.

Right about now, any win is a good win. Can’t afford to be choosey.

I have no ill will regarding Chadwell.  HC at a Sunbelt school earning $900k per year.  USF is a big jump for him.  I just thought we were going to have higher aspirations this time around.  MK didn’t ask me, so I will be forced to support whoever the pick is.  Was hoping for a splash instead of a ripple.

Two things i see as positives.
1. Chadwell already has head coaching experience unlike USF’s last hire

2 His offense looks like it will fit perfectly for USF

I’m with you - and the athletic department needed someone they could tout to ticket holders. The name Jamey Chadwell won’t do that for our buddy John Lewis, et al. Maybe it will down the line if he wins a bunch of games, but it will bring a shrug right now.

A USF guy could add that spark perhaps. I'm still a fan of Scott/Blackwell if the drama of a national coaching search drags on.
