Let's just say Kelly has the blessing to hire CJL.    Should he do it?      5 years ago I would have said yes, but not sure now

He would have the team playing better day 1 but I doubt he would come back.

There are options out there. We could pick the other Scott this time around. We could look for other coaches with university ties. We could look at folks like frost or other retreads. We could try to find the next up and coming assistant. If we are going to do this though experiment let’s not limit our dreams to CJL.

Yes. We will still lose games but at least our defense won't look soft and vulnerable every single snap.

We need to hire a great recruiter. Deion would be great, but he’s not going to come here. Our hires are always conservative and boring.

Can we please stop this crap. You realize you want to follow the Rutgers model.  It’s not working. They are 10s of millions in debt and the coach is no where near being able to compete today. And it’s the same coach that made CJL look silly on an October night 15 years ago.
