Do you define success as only scoring a TD? Yards, completion %, QBR all real metrics mean nothing to you? By your logic it is impossible to have both a good running game and a good passing game since only 1 can ever result in a TD on a single drive.

So it is very possible for an offense to have a potent passing offense and running attack.  Usually they complement each other a good passing game opens up the running game and a good running game opens up the passing game, You can go look for yourself see quite a bit teams that passed for over 2000 yards, threw 20 plus touchdowns, and ran 15 plus touchdowns in while having over 1000 total rushing yards. I would measure a qb best by their total td:int ratio. Also their total yards production, competition precent and QBR come into play next.  A big part not really measure is not giving away games with bad turnovers or terrible plays . Good QB play wins games. Timmy Ranks 98 out of 105 on that list on QBR. South Florida ranks 128/130 overall last year under CJS. Timmy ranked last in touchdowns. I don't really need to make a bet with you to prove the passing offense is terrible under CJS.  The data is all their and speaks for itself.  In 2022 we are at the bottom still in passing stats, I put p5 and g5 examples to show you. Our offense has just been really bad at passing.

2022 USF passing offense will outperform 2018 CCS team with more than 17 TDs (even though that is a dumb metric to judge something solely on). $100 donation to the charity of the winner's choice.

That is a bold prediction and i hope you're right!

Yea this has to be a record for longest post which shows absolutely nothing new. No one is disagreeing with you that our Passing Offense was terrible last year and the year before. I don't know what part of that you don't understand. But that was different players and a different OC. This is a new OC and offense with a new QB. No one is even disagreeing that statistically we had been poor so far through two games. But what we are trying to do is infer based on the play on the field so far how that is gonna to extrapolate to the rest of the 2022 season.

Oh I completely understand he is just trolling me and failing to bring any meaningful counterpoints to any of the arguments I have laid out refuting his narrative.

So which point was I wrong about the passing offense under CJS?

You keep changing the goal posts,

Then stick with that and not the repetitive passing stats that lazily support your narrative when nothing else is considered.

If there's one thing the hard core CJS haters have in common it's the liberal use of goal post moving and strawman arguments.

The part where you explain how any of that affects the rest of the 2022 season.

So you think having a good passing offense has nothing to do with winning and the rest of the team? The quarterback position and play is probably the most important part of a winning team.
