Game 1 of year 3 should not look like this.  CJS is way in over his head

The defense is standing straight up while BYU is running easy throw n catch plays. I'm 7 rows from the field,  and watching these players unprepared & seemingly unconcerned with this embarrassment...

Gerry missed 3 crucial throws wayyyy too high that could've helped the offense out too. He looks like a freshmen out there.

CJS is nothing more than a decent WR coach

I have no idea how much about Clemson's success can you actually say was him. He had a part but i think it was a lot less than we were sold. I think he is a good recruiter and a decent WR coach. He had great NFL talent to work with, he did recruit well, and  had good to great coaches all around him at Clemson. We do know he did not design the offense, he did not run the offense, and he did not call plays on the offense. He is  supposed to be a great offensive mind ,elite talent developer, and elite recruiter. I hope he turns it around here but nothing is pointing in that direction.

I think a DJ party is supposed to happen after a win not before a blowout. I could be wrong though.

After the safety, only the good diehards we're left . Didn't have the heart to say anything negative.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
