Not suggesting that they OWE anything. But, without the exposure of college sports, how many of them would be signing multimillion dollar contracts?

And w/o their contributions on the field, there would be no multimillion dollar contracts either.🤷‍♀️

If you just want to argue, that's fine. I guess it's a catch 22 situation. One doesn't happen without the other. For me, MY OPINION, is that IF I had the opportunity to give back to what helped make me successful, I would. In fact, my wife and I have endowed a small scholarship to help transfer athletes finish their degrees simply because we saw a need, not because USF did anything for us but give her a degree.

One should give back and pay forward when possible. Again, MY OPINION.

When you say "give back" that means the school is entitled to get something back. This was a MUTUAL benefit.  USF already made millions of dollars b/c of that player. There is nothing to give back

Have a great day, if you want to.

These multi-million dollar ESPN and Adidas deals wouldn't be here without the players contributions on the field. They really don't owe anything.

The era of ungratefulness.

I would like to see former players pool together for a group of season tickets for a local organization of youngsters.

I agree these guys probably won’t give a red cent and most players feel like they are owed something from the University and not the other way around anyways, it is a matter of perspective.  People are simply raised differently and have different perspectives, some feel fortunate to have received an opportunity while others feel they were victimized and are always owed something.  It really depends on how you view the world around you.

The players and school are even . . . school gave an education and the players played.

School pride is what shows afterwards.

Go BULLS !!!

I simply view it as a mutual benefit.
