Can it get any worse?

Nope. But not a move the B12 would want to see I'm guessing.

Kelly said he asked all his coaches what they need to be successful and is working to give them that.

What did BG ask for? I mean I'm trying to have an open mind. What does he need? Time is not a tool... what specifically.

Nothing says Big Time hoops more than hiring a local HS coach.

They all evolve from somewhere. Past USF player-Successful high school coach, be a nice hire as an assistant to come in and see if his knowledge/input could help BG get some offense and win some games. And it would be his debut to see what he has at the D-1 level. One never knows do One??

Where is that moving goal post jpg?  Thought we were talking about hiring him as a head coach. Bringing him in as an assistant would be something to think about.

Dont know about zero college HC/AsstC resume? He is an ex-player, a USF guy, local. Kinda like when WT brought in Joe Kinnan. He was an experienced successful HS coach and very game/player savvy. Jumping on this guy to replace BG?? He would have to be a basketball genius. Big difference in college vs high school. Assistant???

Tonelli coaching history with USF

He began his coaching career at USF in 1986 as a graduate assistant. He was promoted to part-time assistant in 1988 and held that position until 1991. He was a full-time assistant coach from 1991-96 under head coach Bobby Paschal

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
