Pretty sure USF needed lacrosse just to get closer to balanced.

I've always wondered why we don't have a swim team? The 1984–85 women's swimming team is the only varsity team in South Florida Bulls history to win an NCAA National Championship. The men's and women's teams also combined for 17 individual and relay national championships in their history.

Off topic a bit but speaking of ice hockey in this area, a Tampa Bay product, Nathan Smith, has made the 2022 US Olympic team. Obviously only because NHL players not going but still a pretty cool deal

No it is a 25 meter indoor pool that is way outdated, has sliding doors that open it up some but would need a new facility.  The sports program was broke and in 87 I think they **** canned swimming for women’s cross country.  Easier to field a few skinny kids running then a team of swimmers much cheaper, may have also had something to do with title IX.

Indeed, my fair brother, the eradication of the evil in which USF Athletics lays on my heart will never be fully eradicated but I will march on and do the best I can. 😂😂😂
