Insane to think Alabama/Saban have been able to be so competitive over the last decade+ there. Would you rather go 7-5 every year and make $80MM from your tv contract, or 10/2-11/1 or maybe even undefeated and make $50MM? Only one of those scenarios has the opportunity to make the playoff. Would prefer a second in Texas (TTU/Baylor/TCU/Houston in order) but Memphis is certainly not a bad alternative.

A second Texas program would have advantages, but I’m not sure who they would be able peal away. And you nailed the order. TTU would bring the most to the table. If you go after them do you make a play for Okie St too? Taking those two programs would put distance between the ACC and B12

Should it? WWW.TAMPABAY.COM One trustee said you’re “at a disadvantage” outside of the Big Ten/SEC. How long will that hold true at FSU?

The ACC is gonna be fine even after losing FSU and Clemson. I don’t see the big ten expanding soon so I believe ACC picks up UConn & USF and stays strong. Multiple schools are going to leave once the GOR opens up.

They would lose more games than they are accustomed to That's underrated. FSU could become like a Mississippi State or Auburn.

Was not about our future ... It absolutely is supportable. The process didn’t begin when the XII ultimately offered membership-the vetting was in 2015/16, nearly 9 years ago and only a short time after our peak performance. A quicker or more efficient rebuild or better maintenance in the early/mid ‘10s and we’re in.
