Nothing I know of.  That's probably how it would work.  I'd guess last game of the season if possible.

its after the AAC conference championship game, so the conference champion will be decided by then, thus it needs to be a nonconference game.

I do believe they figured out a work around in case they both play for the AAC championship. Just have USF dominate the AAC so it won’t be an issue lol

It is funny to see a lot of the  early C-USA schools reunite. ( Tulane, UAB, ECU, Army, USF) Other older C-USA moved up ( LVille, Cincy, Houston). What sticks out is the only C-USA school that never got promoted has been Southern Miss. I guess karma hit them bad after they issues with USF joining. Plus their fans throwing hot chocolate on our players. USM making fake accusations saying USF tried to gouge their eyes out. Karma finds a way to catch up lol

Being a poor athletic department in a poor area also does USM no favors lol they have some solid history but a lot of that was due to being one of the few midmajors in the region for a long time. So many teams in the south joined FBS in the last 30 years that their magic is gone.

Assuming - which I wouldn't necessarily do - Army just replaces SMU on the schedule configuration for 2024, this would be USF's home schedule next year. Not terrible all things considered.
