What a week of announcements! MWC stays together! Crickets on the stadium!

Which will be followed by a probable beat down by SMU

Feels like there should be an official DSM 5 diagnostic code for being a Bulls fan.

Well of course we didn't.  We might have talked to Bobby the pool guy, who talked to Stan in El Paso, who told Robbie in Idaho we would be interested, and (purely hypothetically) how much money they would make in revenues by making the jump, if they happened to want in and if they happened to be invited.  Purely hypothetically.

Hypothetically, they told Robbie who told Stan...you get the idea, that they weren't interested.  So you see we never talked to them nor did we extend them an invite.  All above board here.

I've run out of reactions today. But, yeah. 🤣

I’ll take UAB and App State. Not much different to me than the other two.

I vividly remember a conversation I had with Scott Kull when he was here. I'm sure most of you know that he came from TCU, so he was well versed on matters within the Big XII. When they were potentially looking to expand he told me that the thing holding USF back was our situation with not having an OCS.

The OCS would provide USF with 100% revenue streams on everything associated with it, where we aren't even close to collecting that right now.

It also adds a significant amount of debt service and maintenance costs that are not really part of the RayJay rent.

I am not saying the debt isn't worth the gain as there are plenty of benefits to an OCS ... there are different benefits between renting a house and building your own house.  (Which is why raising as much in advance is such a big deal, right.)

I assume there wouldn't be an offer until someone's already agreed to come. I'd assume everything is under the table until both sides are 100ish% and then they go public.

This is right @widerberg -- unofficial discussions until an agreement is made.  Schools don't apply unless they will get accepted... and the AAC would not "offer" in the first place.  Officially, the schools have to be the ones who ask otherwise there could be some tampering lawsuits...
