Why is anyone talking about Memphis?  They've been eliminated from consideration.  Water off a duck's back.

the Big 12 Blogger was talking about Big 12 expansion ( or no BIg 12 expansion) to some Memphis Radio talk show.   The blogger said if the Big 12 does not expand, it makes the American a more attractive conference with Memphis being (in his eyes) the glammer team.

He also said that the P5 championship may become a  P4 champion if ESPN has their way (bye, bye Big 12)

Gotcha.  Just a simple case of brown-nosing/blowing sunshine up Memphis' ass ... whatever you want to call it.

Now see? There's that media shining through again. Their local media looks at Memphis as a glamour team/program, regardless of what the rest of the non-FedEx nation thinks. Tampa media looks at the Bulls and sees a team ready for CUSA part II.

I think it's just called "taking crap in a bag and calling it potpourri in a desperate attempt to play to your audience and gain more readers."

Which is almost rational. What chaps me is our media taking a bag of near-potpourri and either calling it crap or just completely ignoring it. No sense.

If you see him, remind him he still owes me (and TBP) $100.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
