Going independent is worse than not getting in the Big 12.

Its not a good arrangement for the Big East / AAC.  It was a tumultuous time for the conference when it was signed plus Espn had safeguard in old Big East contract to beable to match any competing offers.  Hard to drive up bids when somebody who has nothing to lose can match your highest offer and retain/steal the deal out from under you.  People prob didnt think schools would be top 25 material.

Do you guys realize what the schedule would look like as an independent? All of the conferences are going to 9 conference games. The ACC (and maybe others) will mandate 1 or 2 P5 games. If you add in the obligatory opening patsy, Harlan will be traveling the country begging for games. It won't be pretty.

Are you so sure that Judy and Mark have any more connections than any other expansion candidate?  I know all of our contacts that used to be at WVU are now gone, replaced by other personnel.

Just saw some really disturbing video of animal abuse by a BU player.  If that player is not off the BU team asap, then the BIg 12 team needs to do something with the team from Waco
