I say we explore that for the sake of discussion.  The Big East was being held hostage by the basketball schools.  They were not able to proactively add when they needed to.

The Big 12 is kind of in the same boat with Texas playing the role of the basketball schools.

The big East should be a cautionary tale for the Big 12 schools like Iowa State, KSU etc.

WVU must be thinking they can't catch a break.

Well over half the value of the B12 comes from UT/OU FBall and Kansas Bball. The Mouse will just figure out a way to carve them out and place them in a different league rather than hand out $40mm-$80mm more a year for G5 programs.
