USF sales pitch all except for that one part ...

You left off how there is no mention of an OCS.  That was a missed opportunity.

No, but what it will do is show we can fill Ray Jay with right opponent.

This is the better answer IMO.

Can we fill the building for a big game? Can we compete with and/or BEAT a good team?

Before you say that it would be mostly FSU fans (it won't) but I am sure we would have solid numbers against Texas, TT, OK and OK State.

We even packed the house against Kansas.

FSU/UF would be the only times we might have trouble with the away group being too large, but I agree that if we played better competition (and competed) we would fill the building regularly.

I agree completely.  they said it better but it was what I was trying to say when I wrote this:

The current contract with Fox expires in 6 years and they are not planning on renewing according to the article.

This is a money grab for sure.  Fox must pay the Big 12 the same per school rate if they decide to add schools but the Big 12 can give the extra revenue to the current schools - and will.

Still a good deal if you are USF/UCF.

This will be a race to the bottom.  Is it possible that whoever gets the invite might lose money on the deal?

I don't care what anyone says, going to the B12 is not worth it if we make less there than we do here.

We make something like 3 million a year in the AAC. B12 teams make 30 million a year. I know we wouldn't be making 30 million off the bat but I can't see us making less than 3.

Completely agree, that was pretty much what I was saying in regards to the question 'would whoever gets the invite lose money on the deal.'
