UCF & USF fans have to love what the OU AD said on national radio today.

So, what did the AD say, exactly?

That he doesn't believe conference realignment is over ...

That's it?  I'll reserve my, "love" for something more substantial.

and oh by the way, what does U Cincinnati offer the Big 12?

That market is owned by Ohio State.

I just think that the Tampa TV Market, Florida recruiting an warm weather games are all plusses.

Our market is dominated by the Gators, so I don't see us that different from Cinci, in that regard.  We do have more room to grow as a program physically and figuratively. Cinci is pretty locked in physically on its campus, we still have room to grow ours. We're also a much younger institution, and we're slowly winning over old-school, pre-football fans back.

That's all I heard him say specifically .... of course, this was after he said their Athletics budget was $100 million and it all came from revenue generated by Athletics. Nothing from the school, no student fees, nothing taxes related ... My mind was a bit jumbled for a bit after hearing that.

If D4 leagues can offer 7 Big12 teams a home.. Well the league can disband without penalty. GOR or not

Yep. I've never understood why people think a GOR means nothing can happen. The B12 schools got together and agreed to the GOR, they can get together and agree to abolish it.
I thought it needed 8 schools

But if B1G took Tex, OU, Kansas, and Mizzou (I think Kansas to importa to pass out because of basketball)

WVU, OSU to SEC with Kst replacing Mizzou

PAC take TCU, Tech, Baylor and BYU

Big 12 is dead in 5-7 Years and what I believe happens when B1G goes to 20 when their contract is up

Texas tried twice to move 5 than 4 of the Texoma schools to the PAC for good reasons. Regional rivalries and easy/close travel for student athletes matter to UT...maybe more than money...maybe. Why would UT join a conference located in the fading/bankrupt rustbelt, with many schools located far from airports, terrible winter weather, no history with UT, no recruiting advantages, and no rivals?

If you look at individual game ticket prices, Tech and A&M have always been the highest priced tickets in Austin for good reason and no other schools come close. Y'all fail to take into account the MANY variables schools must consider about changing conferences. With the poor airport access to many B1G schools and terrible winter weather, the odds of UT athletes missing classes increases by 50% for each trip in the B1G compared to Big 12 schools. UT studied this issue and found it unacceptable.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
